Government Free Internet For students Scheme Details

ISLAMABAD: To facilitate the students with endless internet connectivity, Higher EducationCommission of Pakistan will award free PTCL EVO devices to 1, 00,000 eligible students under Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme.

HEC and PTCL has signed an agreement according which, White labeled EVO Wireless devices would be provided to students by HEC on special monthly rates and customized terms and conditions.

HEC shall purchase a total of 100,000 devices and make the payment against the device cost to PTCL as per agreement. EVO devices will be delivered to HEC in batches in three months; also they will be given to the designated universities by the PTCL. PTCL would also have the right to block any connection if found to be resold or to be purchasable in open market.

It is being considered a great move by HEC that will allow students to get facilitated by portable experience ofinternet connectivity with their portable laptops.

Argentine teacher suspended over fake video scandal

A teacher who reportedly had shameful act with a 16-year-old pupil who secretly took a video of the tryst may have been the victim of a vicious internet prank.
