Inter Services Intelligence ISI was inauguration in 1948 as a sub division of Pakistan and in 1950 after two years of its formation. It was given the task of safeguarding Pakistani interests and matters of national security inside and outside the country. They are also responsible to reinforce the individuals keeping the balance in the power base in its region by collecting the foreign and domestic intelligence.
The ISI keeps an strict but hidden eye through surveillance over its targets, foreigners in the country, the media operating, the active political segments of the Pakistani society, diplomatic missions of the other countries in Pakistan and Pakistani missions serving in the other countries. ISI also interrupts and monitors the communications and activities of the elements who are endangered for the public safety and sovereignty of the country. It engages those elements and target their bases to push them out of their country.
ISI remain active both in war and peacetime. All the work, sacrifices and what ever they do for their nation, always remain in dark and hidden files. Some times even not in the files as well. They sacrifice their lives, their moments with their loved ones, disguise for the nations, some time they remains under cover in their own home town but no one knows, some times they leave the country and never look back until their job is done and are victorious. The words like Impossible and failure are not found in their dictionaries. They are unsung heroes, un awarded sons of the nation. They need no affection but they will continue serving their mother land more then any thing.
